The EatWell DC restaurant group announced this morning that it's going to be opening a fifth concept named The Pig. And with a name like that, it should come as no surprise that this new restaurant plans to serve a lot of pork. A press release throws around buzzwords like "nose to tail" and "farm to table," and says they're going to use produce from the company's own farm out in La Plata, Maryland.
The Pig joins two of EatWell's other concepts in Logan Circle — Logan Tavern and Commissary — and the same team beyond those (plus The Heights and Grillfish) will be running this 72-seat restaurant. It should open sometime in the "early spring of 2012."
