MULTIPLE LOCATIONS— The Virginia and D.C. locations of Cava Mezze have begun an all you can eat brunch service. On both Saturday and Sunday, all the items on the brunch menu are available for $30 per person. They also have drink specials during brunch like penny Mimosas, $2 Bloody Marys and $2 draft beers.
SHAW— Mandalay's $70 pre-set menu has raised some eyebrows. Young & Hungry reports there's a better deal at brunch for the Burmese restaurant. For $20, diners get Jasmine fried rice, salad, curry and a Burmese iced coffee. [WCP]
BETHESDA— New York Koreatown favorite Turntable is coming to the area. Bethesda Now reports the Korean fried chicken chain is bound for 4862 Cordell Ave. [BN]
FOGGY BOTTOM — Bob Kinkead is finally closing his Ancora restaurant for the renovations he was hoping to do months earlier. In the meantime, he will open the more casual Campono next door soon. Ancora's revamp should wrap up around Labor Day, Tom Sietsema reports. [WaPo]
