Jacques Pépin To Cook With Michel Richard at Citronelle

French chef Jacques Pépin has got a new cookbook coming out that, as the mothership put it in their Fall Cookbook Preview, is a "greatest hits album from a master chef with 700 recipes from 60 years of cooking." And to celebrate the new book, Pépin is coming to DC to host a three-course lunch with his old friend (and fellow French chef) Michel Richard. Yes, the two chefs will join forces at Citronelle on November 18 to prepare recipes from the book: potato salad with mussels, rack of lamb provencal and an apple tart with almond filling, according to a press release. Bien sûr, there will be wine pairings, too.

Reservations are $95 and bring your elegant day-drinking hat because the lunch will kick off at 11:45 a.m. with champagne and hors d'oeuvres. Pépin will also be signing copies of his book Essential Pépin. For reservations, contact Citronelle at 202-625-2150 or citronelledc@ihrco.com.
