Oh boy, Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema has just dropped his annual Fall Dining Guide in which he offers mini reviews of 40 different DC-area restaurants. In his introductory note, the critic explains that this year's guide features "restaurants I fantasize about developing steady relationships with." These vary from the unsurprising four stars like Restaurant Eve's Tasting Room and Rasika to two-star reviews for gas station restaurants Fast Gourmet and R&R Taqueria. Six restaurants have received four stars, 12 received two stars (including ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen, which he says " is fast food that shows care") and the rest lie somewhere in between. Intense analysis coming tomorrow. [WaPo]
