On the State Dinner

chefsq-state-dinner-150.jpgThe White House hosted a State Dinner last week for South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak, and Obama Foodorama provides exhaustive coverage of what was on the menu (Texas Wagyu beef with orange-ginger fondue) and from which local farms it was sourced. Momofuku's David Chang was in attendance, but not as a guest chef. This State Dinner was prepared entirely by the White House chefs, who were invited into the East Room after dessert for a round of applause. [ObFo]
