Chevy Chase cafe Terasol was recently the victim of the "bold daytime theft" of their four-foot Eiffel Tower statue. The City Paper learns that the incident might have been captured on a security camera, so there's some hope yet for capturing the young, blond perp who was wearing "a blue and white striped shirt or sweater."
