CAPITOL QUARTER—The last block of townhomes in this new development will be up for sale this weekend. Prices start in the low 700s. The development is already ninety percent sold out, so these are expected to go quickly.

KALORAMA—This week's Under 300K Club is a one bedroom/one bath in a great location. Usually we stick to single family homes, but we made an exception because this looked like a good deal.

VIDEO INTERLUDE—Architect David Rockwell spoke about How Good Buildings Happen and we have the video. He is the same person who brought Build Up! to the National Building Museum—an interactive iPad app that let visitors create a city skyline.

SHAW—The bed and breakfast with safari-themed decor had been sitting on the market for a while at $4M, but a fifty percent price chop got someone to make an offer. Take one last tour through the maze of rooms.

CHANTILLY—In honor of the waning Renaissance Festival we took a look at a house decked out in medieval finery out in Virginia. Two million is the price, but we don't know if the thrones come with the sale.

VIDEO INTERLUDE—Another video caught our eye, this one explains what the Steampunk movement is all about. It's not just watches and lace, as the designers interviewed in the video describe.
