Here Is Michel Richard Skyping With Jacques Pépin

Just two old friends and French chefs, using technology to converse about the weather in a room full of media types. Last night, Michel Richard dropped by the media preview for the upcoming Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show that's bringing the likes of Paula Deen, Guy Fieri and Giada De Laurentiis to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in November. The legendary Jacques Pépin is also coming to town for the show, and he Skyped into the media preview for a chat with his friend Richard.

Among topics they discussed: the weather, their children and grandchildren and what they plan to cook together. Oh yeah, and the show. After Pépin hung up, Richard pointed out how nice and charming his friend is — and said Pépin is the better chef among them.
