Tom Sietsema's been spending some time in Frederick and files his First Bite column this week on The Wine Kitchen, the spinoff of a Leesburg restaurant. Accompanying "a wine program that finds room for humor" is a menu that the Washington Post critic seems to enjoy from the lamb shoulder flatbread all the way to the "elegant caramel apple cheesecake and fashionable coconut panna cotta." But apparently the fireplace is real, so don't burn yourself on it. [WaPo]
