Haunted Chefs Houses

ellen-kassoff-gray-139.jpgIn the spirit of the holiday, Metro Connection on WAMU 88.5 talked with various residents of the Crestwood neighborhood about the area's haunted homes. Among those talking about their freaky ghost incidents is restaurateur Ellen Kassoff Gray (Equinox/Watershed) who home is said to be haunted by the ghost of its former resident Robert Newton. She says she hears doors knocking from the inside sometimes, but "he's very friendly, not freaky at all. Well, it's freaky just because he's a ghost. But he just does things to let us know of his presence and he lets us know it's his house." [WAMU]
