ALEXANDRIA—Apologies for the late notice, but Brooklyn's Sixpoint Brewing is going to be all over Old Town tonight as the brewery launches in the area. They'll definitely be at Columbia Firehouse at 6 p.m., but DC Beer has a full list of the other stops on the pub crawl if you've got time to get over there. [EaterWire, DC Beer]

ATLAS DISTRICT—H Street Great Street reports that the folks behind the Big Board cordially invite their neighbors to a soft opening "neighborhood appreciation" night — with all menu items equalling $1 off for the night. [HSGS]

CHINATOWN—Apparently the good people over at PS7's are now serving boozy cupcakes called "cuptails." Mixologist Gina Chersevani tells the Washingtonian's Best Bites blog that each one contains an ounce and a half of alcohol. You can get them in the lounge or the main dining room, though Washingtonian notes "it's tempting to take a dozen home for a round of D.C. Cupcakes: the Drinking Game." [Washingtonian]
