CHINATOWN—Tomorrow night, PS 7's will be dropping a very special dinner menu on guests who dine in the front dining room: They are going full-on Italian trattoria for the night. Chef Peter Smith has concocted an a la carte menu inspired by dishes his Italian great-grandmother used to make, including antipasti, linguine carbonara, gnocchi, veal saltimbocca, spumoni and more. Dinner service begins at 5:30 p.m. [EaterWire]
ADAMS MORGAN—Prince of Petworth posts a notice from the Adams Morgan BID revealing that the local Advisory Neighborhood Commission is voting tonight on whether to reduce sidewalk cafe space on 18th Street. [PoP]
U STREET—DCist has a video of people break-dancing in the middle of Ben's Chili Bowl. Wait, there is usually barely enough room for walking in there what with the lines and all. Break-dancing? Meanwhile, the City Paper notes that Ben's will be providing the goods for the World Chili Eating Championship at Taste of DC this weekend. [DCist, WCP]
GAITHERSBURG—The Washingtonian learns that Jaymar Colombian Breeze — a mainstay on the magazine's annual Cheap Eats list — is up for sale. Though apparently it has been up for sale for months and doesn't appear to be going anywhere all too soon. [Washingtonian]
