Joey Chestnut Likes His Ribs

chestnut-150-thumb-thumb.jpgThe Washingtonian has a Q&A with competitive eating champion Joey Chestnut, who is in town to compete in Sunday's World Chili Eating Competition. He eats more than two gallons of chili in his practice sessions and is totally hardcore: "I did a ribs contest in Reno—and you can only eat so much meat during a ribs contest—so I wasn't even full. I practiced with ribs, and then I ate ribs during the contest, and right after the contest I had some more ribs. The next day I went to the [ribs] restaurant because I was still craving them."
