Congratulations are in order for CityZen pastry chef and all-around nice guy Matthew Petersen, who was just named Fan Favorite in the second season of Top Chef Just Desserts. Host Gail Simmons tweeted the good news last night, as did Petersen's man-crush (and the season's overall winner) Chris Hanmer. And, as Petersen's employers at the Mandarin Oriental also tweeted, "There's no favorite like FAN FAVORITE!" Update: And now a press release reveals Petersen's real prize: $10,000 cash.
