FOOD TV—It's that time again. DC Cupcakes, the reality television show that follows the owners/sisters/bakers of Georgetown Cupcake, premieres Friday night at 10 p.m. on TLC. One of the sisters, Katherine Kallinis, recently married, so this is an hourlong wedding special, people. Be warned. [EaterWire]

BLOOMINGDALE—Rejoice, people of Bloomingdale. Prince of Petworth reports that another food option — Bacio Pizzeria — has opened in the neighborhood today. The menu posted on their website reveals that they have eight pizzas (many named after surrounding neighborhoods) plus the option to build your own. There are also calzones, a couple salads and a gluten-free option. [PoP, Official Site]

TEMPORARY SHUTTER—PoP also notes that Metro Center's Funxion has closed temporarily while it revamps its menu and launches what it calls "Phase II." Whatever that means. [PoP]

WHEATON—On Saturday afternoon, Les Dames d'Escoffier are hosting a gourmet walking tour of Wheaton. For $45, you'll get breakfast, lunch and tastings at stops like By Brazil, Marchione’s Italian Deli, Dessie Ethiopian Restaurant and Market and more. Make your reservations online. [EaterWire]
