Michael Landrum on Top Chef Live-Tweeting

The Washington Post's food section has been clogging up everyone's Twitter feed with their incessant Top Chef live-tweeting and restaurateur Michael Landrum of the Ray's the Steaks empire has some thoughts on that: "I can not imagine anything sadder than a paid reporter and the editor of a national newspaper live 'twinking' or 'twirping' or whatever it is called a staged television contest. Nor can I imagine much else more insulting to the actual professionals who work in the field they purport to cover as journalists. If they did not choose this themselves, I would feel such pity for them." Burn. [WaPo]
