Trader Joe's Sets a Date; A Fish-to-Table Dinner Series

CLARENDON—Arlingtonians are sure to be overjoyed at the news coming from ARLnow today that Trader Joe's. has set an opening date for Friday morning. Doors open at 8 a.m. and there will be live music, food demonstrations, balloon artist and face painters. [ARLnow]

WEST END—Tomorrow marks the launch of a three-part dinner series at Westend Bistro that will be all about seafood. For $85 per person, the dinner includes four courses and a wine pairing, plus a discussion with chef Joe Palma's actual seafood vendors as the idea here is to explore "seafood-to-table" as opposed to "farm-to-table."
