DC's Wine Scene Gets Some Love

district-commons-wine-150.jpgWall Street Journal wine columnist Lettie Teague pays a visit to Washington, DC, where she makes stops at Ripple, Veritas and the spanking new District Commons. Though she found Veritas "smelled like a damp basement," Teague was impressed by all the New York wines available at District Commons and made the following very important declaration: "Although I’m not a big patron (or fan) of wine bars in New York, I sure wish there was a wine bar like Ripple at home."
