1) Potomac: Though they initially announced they'd be opening on November 8, the Potomac Founding Farmers outpost has officially opened to the public as of this morning. This location will sport a menu very similar to the Foggy Bottom flagship but with a few more options thanks to a custom-designed oven. There will also be handcrafted sodas and an "afternoon social" special with tea sandwiches, scones, tea, cocktails and more geared toward entrepreneurs and "local mom groups." There's also free WiFi. Status: Open. 12505 Park Potomac Avenue; website
2) Bethesda: South African chicken chain Nando's Peri-Peri has officially opened its latest DC-area location in Bethesda Row. This is the sixth local spot for the chain, which opened in Gaithersburg back in September. Status: Open. 4839 Bethesda Avenue; website
3) Dupont Circle: DCist reports that Tasti D-Lite has opened its doors in the old Tangysweet space on P Street. This is the first of two locations that the "frozen dessert" chain plans to open in the DC area this year — the next is expected in Columbia Heights. Status: Open. 2029 P St, NW; website
