Last night, the Georgetown location of Tackle Box finally reopened to the public after the late June fire at Hook forced it to close. The restaurant tweeted yesterday that it would be open for dinner last night, as the City Paper noticed this morning. And, according to the restaurant's Facebook page, it's just dinner service for the first couple of days with a plan to open back up for lunch on Friday. Eater has reached out to the restaurant to see if the reopening has brought any changes and will update if anything comes of that.
And, as has been previously reported, fellow fire victim Hook is no more. Instead it will reopen as Mike Isabella's Mexican restaurant Bandolero.
