Stephen Starr's Parc-like French bistro is definitely a go for DC. The Philly restaurateur announced in June that he was working on his project and reports were that he was eyeing the intersection of 14th and Q streets. But there was no lease signed and nothing was definite ... until now. The Washington Business Journal confirms with Starr that he has officially signed a lease at what Prince of Petworth identifies via liquor licensing as the Shirt Laundry building at that exact intersection. There aren't any details yet, but they hope to open in about 10 months. [WBJ, PoP]
