1) Merrifield: The Washington Business Journal reports that BlackFinn will be opening up yet another local location, this time out by the Dunn Loring Metro station. They've signed a lease in the Halstead Square development and are shooting to open in the summer of 2012. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
2) Atlas District: H Street Great Street has an update on the American bistro named Boundary Road that is headed to H Street. Apparently, it will feature "an eclectic beverage program, highlighting craft beers and old world wines, and a custom made from reclaimed wood communal harvest table." They are documenting their development on Facebook if you would like to get up close and personal with the buildout. [PLYWOOD]
3) Penn Quarter: A reader sends Prince of Petworth word that there is a place called Grand Trunk whose signs dub it the "world's first South Asian fast food brand" opening in Penn Quarter. [PLYWOOD]
4) Downtown: Meanwhile, PoP gets some interior shots of the Jimmy John's headed to 14th and L and the other one headed to Pennsylvania Avenue. They are in various stages of preparedness, but PoP guesses that 14th and L will be the first. [PLYWOOD]
5) Crystal City: ARLnow notices that Memphis Barbeque is officially hiring, so the opening is getting near. [PLYWOOD]
6) Falls Church: There are two more restaurants bound for the Willston Center in Seven Corners. According to ARLnow, Chick-fil-A and Cafe Rio are both under construction. The former should open in April of 2012 and Cafe Rio is aiming for November of this year. [PLYWOOD]
