For his First Bite column this week, Tom Sietsema visits the North Gate Grill, which recently replaced Twigs in the Capital Hilton. The Washington Post critic finds some things to like about the new-and-improved dining room, but suggests that it could still use some further improvements in presentation: "An Army-green plate of artichoke-and-goat-cheese ravioli tastes better than what it resembles: 'the bottom of a brook,' suggests a tablemate."
