Serious Eats Top Cookbooks 2011

serve-yourself-yonan-150.jpgSerious Eats came up with a list of its top 10 favorite cookbooks from this year, one for each category of cookbook needs from grilling to entertaining to weeknight cooking. One book to make the list under "for the solo cook" is Washington Post food editor Joe Yonan's book Serve Yourself that Serious Eats writes "will ensure that single eaters do not fall into the evil clutches of frozen dinners and Hot Pockets." Other books on the list include selections from Mario Batali and Michael Ruhlman. [SE]
