Prince of Petworth brings the bad news this morning that Shaw — a neighborhood in need of more dining options — has just lost a restaurant. Taqueria Mexicana has closed up shop on 9th Street due to the high cost of rent. The silver lining here is that the owner is apparently still looking for a new location and in the meantime is considering continuing in a catering capacity. [PoP]
