City Paper food editor Chris Shott files a micro-rant today about a less-than-pleasant experience he had at American Ice Company last week. He and a friend were denied the bar's pickle sampler because the pickle jar had already been put away. Shott describes this as a "line of complete horse shit" considering that it was before 11 p.m. and American Ice was still serving other food. So he just glared at the servers until they provided him with pickles. Lesson learned: Don't get between a man and his pickles? [WCP]
