Occupy Starbucks

Starbucks_NewLogo_2011-thumb-thumb.jpgIf you ever wondered what the Occupy DC protesters do to keep warm over there in their McPherson Square camp, they are actually just hanging out at Starbucks. According to the Washington Examiner, the Starbucks at 15 and K streets has seen "anywhere from 50 to 150 occupiers" a day for the past two months, using the bathrooms, checking email, playing cards and not really drinking much coffee, it seems. One protester admits he'd rather not patronize a corporate company like Starbucks, but hey, free bathroom and Wi-Fi, man. [Washington Examiner]
