The Hamilton, the massive new restaurant and entertainment venue from the folks behind Clyde's, opened to the public yesterday afternoon in the old Borders bookstore near the Treasury building. Executive chef Brian Stickel manages the kitchen at this 400-seat restaurant residing on 37,000 square feet of retail. The Hamilton offers seven separate menus appropriate for all 24 hours of the day that it is open: breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, late-night and, most interestingly for all-American Clyde's, a sushi menu overseen by former Zentan sushi chef Jason Zheng.
For right now it's just the restaurant that is operational — The Hamilton will inaugurate its lower level live music venue on Friday with a 9 p.m. show featuring Baltimore's The Junkyard Saints.
