BURGER WIRE—The fine folks and burger nerds behind local blog Burger Days have released a list of their favorite burgers of 2011. They're partial to specimens found at 1905, Stoney's, BGR, Burger Tap & Shake, Black Squirrel and Shake Shack. And now you will have burger cravings for the rest of the evening. [BD]
LOGAN CIRCLE—Terrific news today for all those fans of the gem Great Wall Szechuan House on 14th Street. As of yesterday, it has fully reopened its doors after briefly closing its dine-in service (but not takeout) for renovations. The Post's Tim Carman takes a look around the brand-new space with its new brick walls, flat screen TV and a bar counter. All in all, the renovation cost the owners $50,000. [WaPo]
LISTICLES—In more sandwich listicle news, travel website Gadling asked a bunch of travel writers and chefs about their best meals of the year. One such writer was National Geographic Traveler's superlative Andrew Evans, who just so happens to live in DC. Among his selections was Sundevich, which he calls "a global sandwich dream: your favorite flavor memories from the road brought to life on bakery-fresh bread." [Gadling]
ATLAS DISTRICT—H Street Great Street has a super-impressive rundown of all the restaurants that have announced intentions to move to H Street in the near and/or distant future. There are many and there is going to be madness in 2012. [HSGS]
