Pinkberry Opens in Georgetown on Friday, Dec. 23

Pinkberry has been expanding like crazy in 2011 — with new locations in Dupont Circle, Clarendon and out in Leesburg — and on Friday the fancy LA-based froyo shop is finally opening its rightful home of trendiness, Georgetown. Across the street from Georgetown Cupcake, mind you.

The date is set for Friday, Dec. 23 and, as we've seen at the rest of their openings in the DC-area, Pinkberry is kicking things off with a pre-opening froyo giveaway on Dec. 22. Stop by the Georgetown store anytime between noon and 4 p.m. on Thursday and get a free cup of frozen yogurt. If you go, expect the lines to be nuts because, hey, it's Pinkberry, it's Georgetown and it's almost Christmas so the shopping crowd is out in full force.
