Cathal Armstrong Lands Book Deal For Pursuing Eve

Cathal Armstrong — the man behind Restaurant Eve, The Majestic, Virtue Feed & Grain, and Eamonn's, great restaurants all — has signed a deal with Ten Speed Press for a cookbook titled Pursuing Eve. Written together with food writer David Hagedorn (who is also assisting on Todd and Ellen Gray's forthcoming book), Armstrong's book will be "a collection of traditional Irish recipes in which the author shares the techniques and craftsmanship that have made his Alexandria, VA restaurants a destination," according to Publishers Marketplace.

There's no word yet on when the book will be released — and the Eat Good Food people are a little busy at the moment with the impending post-holidays opening of their food hall Society Fair — but when reached via email for comment, Meshelle Armstrong wrote: "We're so jazzed to be working with 10 Speed Press, one of the most elite cookbook production houses. More to come from the Eat Good Food Group in 2012. Happy New Year Eater Peeps."
