BETHESDA—A sushi restaurant by the name of Passion Fin — sounding very similar to PassionFish? — is headed to Bethesda in early 2012. The owners of Sake Steakhouse in Laurel and Fuji Sushi in Bel Air are opening up their third concept at The Shops at Sumner Place shopping center, where it will join the Praline French Bakery and the Bethesda Market. WEST ENDRis is hosting a wine dinner tomorrow night with Schramsberg Vineyards featuring five courses from macadamia-crusted scallop and lobster to gingerbread and buttered pears. The dinner will be $125 and begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Conveniently, the wines will be available for sale after the dinner. [EaterWire]
