Chris Shott explores the trajectory of Dupont Circle's One Lounge, which celebrates its second anniversary next week — after firing its chef in June and serving out a five-day suspension for having a DJ on the premises without a live entertainment license. Another problem is that people don't seem to realize there is food at One Lounge. As owner (and now chef) Seth McClelland explains, "People don’t necessarily think of food when they think of a lounge. In New York, they do. In London, they do. In L.A., they do.
