If anything can rival the NFL draft in macho-manliness it would have to be a meat draft — which, fortunately, exists. The Washington Post has the beef in its food section today about White House Meats, a steer share where customers meet up, draw draft numbers and select their preferred cuts while exchanging recipes. Everyone goes home with 21 pounds of delicious, delicious beef that is, of course, locally sourced. [WaPo]
