Cathedral Heights is verging on getting its own Neopolitan pizzeria — perhaps a little too close for comfort to a certain popular Cleveland Park joint. Restaurateur Hakan Ilhan has signed a lease on the old Chef Geoff's spot for his Antica Neopolitan Pizzeria, which he plans to open by Nov. 1. The Washington Business Journal reports that, in the meantime, Ilhan is working on getting the restaurant's pizza officially Neopolitan-certified. But will it hold a candle to 2Amys?
