Michel Richard's Central Unveils New Take-Out Menu

Speedy lunch options downtown have long been limited to chain-brand sandwiches, salads and soups. Now, though, downtown workers have an option that might actually be worth busting out of that cubicle. Michel Richard has unveiled a new take-out lunch menu at Central that features several (but not all) of the bistro's most popular dishes. Tartare of filet mignon? Check. Loup de mer with mushrooms? Check. A six-piece bucket of Richard's famous fried chicken with chicken nuggets, homemade sauce and mashed potatoes on the side? Check, check, check AND check!

But do take note: Take-out at Central does not come cheap. Prices are the same as the regular lunch menu, so don't expect a deal like Ebbitt Express. But at least now there's more of a choice than the Potbelly at 12th & E or the Potbelly at 13th & E.
