Booze News

Good news for people who like to eat in west Dupont: last night the Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2B voted to remove the cap on restaurant-class liquor licenses in the area. According to the Washington City Paper, commissioners felt that having more restaurants would strengthen the community — though bars continue to face a moratorium. Any new restaurants will be asked to sign voluntary agreements limiting their hours of operation. [WCP]
