COLUMBIA HEIGHTS—A tipster tells Prince of Petworth that the poster boxes at the old Tivoli Theatre in Columbia Heights have been replaced by windows. ATLAS DISTRICT—H Street Great Street points out that a new "modern French" bistro is on its way to H Street. Le Grenier has applied for a restaurant-class liquor license. Those who love outdoor seating will have to fight over the four sidewalk spots. [HSGS]
CLARENDON—Things don't look good for Jay's Saloon & Grille. Owner Kathi Moore tells ARL Now that the dive bar's lease is up at the end of the year and she doesn't expect it to be renewed, thanks to plans to redevelop the land. [ARL Now]
