It's a question as old as time: Aside from fire and swords, what do circus performers eat? Endless Simmer pays a visit to the Ringling Bros. dining car, currently parked in Southeast DC, and discovers Chef Michael Vaughn prepares about 3,000 meals a week out on the railroad tracks. They're mostly global dishes, and not necessarily healthy. But performers always have the option of cooking for themselves in their tiny train rooms. [ES]
