Resumes and references are so boring. Love Nightclub has come up with a hiring process that we could totally get behind. The Ivy City club, now under new management, is on the hunt for a new executive chef and they're doing so in a Top Chef-style showdown on Friday. Job candidates (who, in fact, will be submitting resumes and references ahead of time) will be required to prepared a three-course small plates menu. According to publicist Quianne Perrin, judges will range from member of the DC Council to a representative from Uptown magazine. The winner gets a gig that pays anywhere between $15 and $25 an hour, depending on experience. The losers get to pack their knives and go.
