The Queen Vic, Tackle Box, Harth And More On The Way

1) Atlas District: D.C. Foodies take an in-depth look at The Queen Vic, a gastropub set to open on H Street on April 4 (and open with a limited menu today). Executive chef Adam Stein has some pretty inspired inspiration in April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig) and Fergus Henderson (St. John). The menu will include roasted marrow bones, head cheese, beef cheeks, sweetbreads and more. And, of course, fish and chips. [POST-PLYWOOD]

2) Cleveland Park: The Feast tours the new Tackle Box location, where construction finally got underway after the inevitable permit-process delay. The menu and concept will remain the same as the Georgetown location, but the Cleveland Park outpost will be much larger and very stroller-friendly. Click through for pictures of the construction site. [PLYWOOD]

3) Tysons Corner: The Hilton McLean Tysons Corner opens its new restaurant Härth on Monday. With a kitchen helmed by executive chef Thomas Elder, expect American comfort foods and locally sourced products. [POST-PLYWOOD]

4) Atlas District: The Hill Rag reports that H Street is going to get a shwarma/falafel joint, creatively called Shawafel. It looks to be a smallish restaurant with counter service and a simple menu — aside from the French fry sandwich, of course. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
