In case you missed it, we've got the video from last night's episode of the new Cooking Channel show Eat Street, which featured major love for DC's own Sâuçá. According to the show, the globally inspired food truck is how our "city of embassies" gets all of our flavors in the same space. Watch as owner Farhad Assari and chef Al Nappo playfully discuss their inspiration (and some secret recipe tips) for everything from the Buffalo chicken and the Argentine chimichurri to the always-popular Mumbai butter chicken — which Nappo jests hails "from the great city of Mumbai in South Dakota."
