Roasted, Tatted Pigs At Ba Bay; CityZen Raises $70,000

CAPITOL HILL—Ever wanted to tattoo a pig and eat it? Well, here's your chance. Ba Bay is teaming up with Jesse Tittsworth, Bev Eggleston and the folks from Tattoo Paradise for a pig roast with a twist. Using edible cuttlefish ink, they'll be tatting up a couple of pigs, which chef Nick Sharpe will then be using to create a five-course family-style meal. Seatings are at 5:00 and 8:30 p.m. on Monday, May 2, and will cost you $65 per person — with proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross. [EaterWire]

DISASTER RELIEF—Speaking of relief efforts for the Japanese earthquake, CityZen raised $70,000 from its recent charity event, pulling in $11,000 in the auction of a private dinner for eight prepared by Eric Ziebold and his sous chef Makoto Hamamura. [EaterWire]
