RAMMY Awards Opens Polls For Public Voting Categories

The polls are open for the RAMMY Awards three public voting categories: Neighborhood Gathering Place, Power Spot and Hottest Bar Scene. From now through May 5, you'll be able to cast your vote for your favorite nominees in these three categories, as well as write in your own pick for your favorite restaurant. The City Paper is hosting the poll so click through to make your vote count.

And in the meantime, score some discounts. Several of the restaurants nominated in these three categories—including Masa 14, Equinox, PS 7's, Carmine's, Bombay Club, Bastille and Bar Pilar—are hosting parties and happy hours over the next week as part of an "Eat the Vote" initiative.

Bar Pilar: Tonight from 5 to 10 p.m., Bar Pilar is offering cocktail and food specials, plus free use of a photo booth for all those who vote for the restaurant in the Neighborhood Gathering Place category.

Bastille: The Alexandria restaurant will have happy hour pricing all day today.

Bombay Club: The restaurant's power cocktail will be priced at $10 throughout the week.

Carmine’s: To boost their Power Spot cred, Carmine's is hosting a party from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 5 with surprise "power guests" and tours of the restaurant’s Secret Service entrance for all who vote. They'll have computers set up at the bar for voting, too.

Equinox: The White House-adjacent restaurant is hosting a power hour from 5 to 6 p.m. every night through May 5, which includes cocktail specials and free bar food for voters.

PS 7’s: Tomorrow they're hosting a party featuring mixologist Gina Chersevani’s famous punches for $7 each, as well as burgers and flatbreads for half price.

Masa 14: They're offering a drink and food special that includes mango mojitos, spicy tune temaki rolls and mango summer rolls for $10.
