PENN QUARTER—A source told Prince of Petworth yesterday that Luke's Lobster Shack is headed to DC soon, with a buildout underway in Penn Quarter. Eater followed up with a rep from the New York restaurant who could not confirm the rumors but noted that Penn Quarter is "a great neighborhood." [PoP]

CLEVELAND PARK—Uptown Girl's Cleveland Park blog reports that Palena is going to be serving brunch starting this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. [UGCP]

WEST END—Speaking of brunch, RIS is debuting a new menu this weekend, too, featuring small plates like mini quiches, a single huevo ranchero and a single egg Benedict. Other options include a beef short rib hash with a poached egg, as well as a breakfast pizza. Starts on Sunday at 10 a.m. [EaterWire]
