Two months since it was shuttered by a fire, Banana Leaves is making its comeback plans. Prince of Petworth reports that the pan-Asian restaurant has begun a gut renovation that will take six to eight months to complete before the restaurant gets back on its feet. Back in early March, a malfunctioning gas water heater caused about $200,000 in damage to the restaurant — though, fortunately, no injuries. [PoP]
