SAVOR Tickets Giveaway; Weeklong Party At Smith Commons

LOGAN CIRCLEChurchKey is kicking off American Craft Beer Week tonight with a party featuring local brewers like DC Brau, Port City, Flying Dog, Starr Hill and more on tap. For every purchase of a local draft, you'll be entered into a raffle for two tickets to next month's sold-out SAVOR. Tomorrow, the bar will tap its last keg of Great Lakes Christmas Brew and introduce DC to the Great Lakes Grand Cru for the first time ever. Finally, on Wednesday they'll be featuring Tröegs, with at least 10 of the Pennsylvania brewery's beers on tap and lots of glassware to give away. [EaterWire]

ATLAS DISTRICT—Smith Commons has given its craft beer celebration a snappy tagline: "No taxation without fermentation." They'll be hosting free events every day this week, featuring $5 beers and small plate pairings from chef de cuisine Carlos Delgado. Tonight they kick it off at 6 p.m. with featured brews from Oskar Blues and $1 oysters all night. Tuesday night features Bell's Brewery, Wednesday is Dogfish Head, Thursday is DC Brau and Friday will spotlight Great Lakes. The restaurant will also host some special events on its third floor throughout the week and a Saturday brunch in partnership with Brightest Young Things. [EaterWire]

ALEXANDRIA, BALLSTONRustico's craft beer celebration starts tomorrow at the Alexandria location where starting at 6 p.m. they'll have brews like Flying Dog Imperial IPA Single Hop Simcoe, Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale, Sierra Nevada Ovila, Samuel Adams East-West Kolsch and Breckenridge Lucky U IPA. ANNAPOLIS—For those a little further afield, Punk's Backyard Grill is releasing its Oliver Ales collaboration Draft Punk tonight at 6 p.m. in honor of American Craft Beer Week. They'll be giving out $3 pints, glassware and 20 percent off all food until 10 p.m. [EaterWire]
