As of noon today, Palena's long-awaited market is open to the public in Cleveland Park. Tom Sietsema reports that the Palena Market, located just next to the restaurant's cafe space, will have Italian pasta and olive oil, local honey and even dishes from the restaurant itself — like macarons, lemon-glazed doughnuts and even the sourdough bread you may recognize from their bread baskets.
