The American Lamb Board hosted DC's first Lamb Jam this past weekend, and Urbana chef John Critchley was the big winner. The event challenged 19 local chefs to prepare dishes using American lamb, with awards going to best loin, leg, shank and shoulder, plus the judge's choice and the people's choice. Critchley won the judges over with a slow-cooked leg and BLT Steak's Victor Albisu nabbed the people's choice award. [EMDM]
