Prince Charles Visiting DC For Sustainability Talks And Tours

This is your lucky week, royals-watchers. On the heels of his son's wedding, the Prince of Wales is on his way to DC for a bunch of food-related events. This afternoon, Prince Charles will be stopping by Common Good City Farm in LeDroit Park for a tour of the urban farm — though before you grab your fancy hats, please note that Common Good will be limiting access to the farm during the royal visit.

Then tomorrow His Royal Highness will be the keynote speaker at a Washington Post Live "Future of Food" conference at Georgetown University, addressing agricultural sustainability and ecosystem resilience. He'll be joining the White House's Sam Kass, U.S. Senator Jon Tester, Eric Schlosser, author of Fast Food Nation, and others at the conference that will be livestreamed if you want to watch it while eating your leftover Royal Wedding scones. Prince Charles goes on at 10:30 am.
